10.4m BOPP line for Saudi Arabian long-term partner
Gulf Packaging Industries and Brückner Maschinenbau teamed up again: A state-of-the-art 10.4m BOPP line will be added to the manufacturing complex in Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia, in autumn 2022. This expansion is part of Gulf Packaging’s growth strategy for the region.

Within the last 30 years we realized five joint BOPP projects, with the size, speed and output of the production lines steadily increasing. The latest line now agreed upon is consequently the fastest, widest and most powerful – and it is completely customized to the needs of Gulf Packaging. We are confident that this project will further strengthen Gulf Packaging’s position in the world of leading BOPP film producers”.
Established in 1989, Gulf Packaging grew from a single 4m BOPP line to become a world recognized supplier of quality films. Today, GPIL is one of the largest producers of BOPP in the MEA region and exports its products to over 70 countries around the globe.
